Second Grade: students will continue their learning of Spanish by incorporating all language Skills (speaking, writing, reading and comprehension). Through songs, games and their corresponding Spanish book, they will learn about introductions, rules of agreement in Spanish (number/gender), expression of moods/feelings, likes and preferences regarding food and drinks. They will also learn to identify and describe daily activities, animals from the farm, rooms in a house, parts of the body, seasons and weather conditions. Additionally, they will learn how to give/follow instructions using imperatives

Materials: Notebook, Spanish Book “Clan 7 Level 1”

Third Grade: students will continue their learning of Spanish by incorporating all language Skills (speaking, writing, reading and comprehension). Through different activities, games and their corresponding Spanish book, they will learn about expressions of agreement and disagreement regarding the likes and preferences of someone else. They will also learn how to identify and describe daily routines, actions that are happening now (present continuous tense), celebrations and weather conditions, means of transportation, pedestrian safety rules, states of health, clothing items and appearance. Additionally, they will learn how to express future intentions, moods/feelings and to use imperatives to give/follow instructions.

Fourth Grade: students will continue their learning of Spanish by incorporating all language Skills (speaking, writing, reading and comprehension). Through different activities, games and their corresponding Spanish book, they will reinforce their skills by learning about reflexive verbs, describing healthy habits, places in the city, instructions to get to a destination, expressing agreement or disagreement regarding the preferences of someone else. Additionally, they will learn how to describe different types of animals, natural landscapes, habits for a sustainable lifestyle and past events (simple past tense)

Fifth Grade: students will continue their learning of Spanish by incorporating all language Skills (speaking, writing, reading and comprehension). Through different activities, games and their corresponding Spanish book, they will reinforce their skills by learning about expression of agreement and disagreement regarding the preferences of someone else. Additionally, they will learn how to describe appearance and personal characteristics, clothing items, home chores, film genres (sci/fi, suspense, comedy, romance, action), purposes of technology, future intentions and past events. They will also learn how to use imperatives to give/follow instructions

Materials: Notebook, Spanish Book “Clan 7 Level 4”

Sixth Grade: students will continue their learning of Spanish by incorporating all language Skills (speaking, writing, reading and comprehension). Through different activities, games and their corresponding Spanish book, they will reinforce their skills by reviewing rules of agreement and formal/informal introductions, expressing ownership, describing current events, appearance, personality, needs (being thirsty/sleepy/hungry/cold), frequency of routines, moods/feelings and physical discomfort. Additionally, they will learn how to order in a restaurant and give directions (imperatives)

Materials: Notebook, Spanish Book “Espacio Joven 360 Level A.1”

Seventh & 8th Grades: students will continue their learning of Spanish by incorporating all language Skills (speaking, writing, reading and comprehension). Through different activities, games and their corresponding Spanish book, they will reinforce their abilities by learning how to describe routines (reflexive verbs), severity of weather conditions, current and past actions. Also, they will learn how to express future intentions, understanding different uses of the verb To Be (Ser/Estar), making comparisons, giving suggestions/recommendations, asking for/saying the price of something and giving/following instructions (imperatives)
