About Our Program
Our Pre-K Program is a free, high quality early education program that is fully funded by the NYC Department of Education. Our program offers a full day schedule, five days a week from September to June. Children will receive free breakfast, lunch and snack.
Curriculum
Our Pre-K Program provides each student with the opportunity to participate in high quality learning experiences that are aligned with the Department of Education’s Pre-K Units of Study. This theme based, integrated curriculum ensures that children acquire knowledge through learning centers set up in the classroom.
These learning centers include: art, writing, science, math, blocks, dramatic play and library. Music and movement, outdoor play, and the sand/water table are also an important part of our program.
These activities help the children reinforce their gross and fine motor skills. This approach to learning provides children with hands-on experiences while strengthening higher-order thinking skills.
Children will gain the skills needed to prepare them for kindergarten.
