Choir

Immaculate Conception Church & Immaculate Conception Catholic Academy Children’s Choir is in its 3rd year and has grown each year.  Any student at the Academy or part of the Immaculate Conception religious education program in grades 1-8 is eligible to join. The choir meets every Thursday from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm in Mr. Eric’s classroom, Room 17. Snack and break time are included!  We sing from Labor Day until The Feast of Corpus Christi, (Early September to Mid-June).  We sing at the 9:00 am Immac Family Mass every Sunday. In addition, we offer music for all Academy school liturgies.

In the past, special fun events have included trips to Chuck E. Cheese, Christmas Eve pizza parties, end-of-year park parties, and recently a Vespers prayer service. Parents are part of the fun, too, as we organize adults-only social events to get to know each other outside of school. Being a part of the choir is a great way to be social with your classmates and fellow parish students, to put into practice the fundamentals of choral singing, to engage in a prayerful and educational environment, and to feel like a part of a close-knit community.

We’d love for you to join us.
