Performing Arts Program

Our dynamic partnership with Stages on the Sound encourages creativity through theater and the arts for students in grades 4, 6, and 8.  Students engage their imaginations, study the process of theatre and work together as an ensemble to put on their own innovative production.  Students learn to create stop-motion animation films, write their own plays and act out the works of William Shakespeare.  View a throwback to a 2005 production here.

School Play

In February 2020,  Students from Kindergarten through fourth grade will perform a version of the Wizard of Oz.

Annual Social Studies Production

Each year our Middle school students will research and study a specific decade or era in history and create a play based on their studies.  In Spring 2020, they will focus on the turbulent years of the 60’s and create a play tentatively named The Turning Point.
